To mark World Assistive Technology Day, an OADCPH delegation visited the Centre Saint Louis Don Orione de Bombouaka, a community hospital located 598 km north of Togo, in the Savanes region.

Plantar fasciitis is a common pathology that manifests itself as pain in the foot, particularly in the heel and arch (a structure on the inside of the foot made up of ligaments, tendons and muscles).

It results from inflammation of the connective tissue that extends from the heel to the forefoot, playing an essential role in supporting the arch, responsible for shock absorption and foot flexibility.

During a mission to Togo, Pascal BIJLEVELD, CEO, and Henri BONNIN, Strategic Analyst of ATScale, a social enterprise whose mission is to provide people around the world with the most appropriate lower limb prostheses. They took the time to visit OADCPH and discuss opportunities for collaboration. This strategic visit is part of a dynamic development program for the OADCPH, and will enable concrete actions to be put in place.

OADCPH had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the ALFASET foundation, made up of the President, General Manager, Engineer and Orthopedic Products Manager.
After a tour of the premises and a number of working sessions, we signed a collaboration contract.
